well i'm back at it again. sharing some stuff that is important to me.
I've always been obsessed with finding the * truth*. I guess it started when I was around 15 or 16 and I read *siddhartha*. siddhartha is a novel by Hermann Hesse that deals with the spiritual journey of self-discovery of a man named Siddhartha during the time of the Gautama Buddha. at the end of the book he get *enlightened*..I wanted that.
I can remember sitting on my bed reading (around the same time but not necessarily siddartha) and I realized in a not so normal way of seeing.. that there was a piece of me, an energy..that was always there, never changing. this energy appeared out of nowhere and it lasted a brief moment and after that I didn't pay much attention to it. why do I bring this up?
some spiritual teachings have a list, so to speak, of levels of consciousness reached. I don't know where this one might be .
swami satchitananda's transcendental meditation has this list.
the yoga sutras has a different one..meher baba has a different one..
they are all pretty similar.
it's not really that important.!
